Question:
I met you at the IMDHA conference in Daytona and purchased your products which by the way were most helpful and beautifully done.I need your help and advice in the proper protocol for treating amaxophobia and tinnitus. She has had both issues for 10 years. After her first session her tinnitus was lessened by 10%, with just addressing anxiety issues and managing stress.Second visit tinnitus is still hanging around.Do you have any additional help or suggestions she is coming in this Thursday.
Thank you so much for your amazing dedication in healing.
Comment:
Sounds like you are doing all the right things. Robert Bayliss is the expert in Tinnitus. When he sees a client in my office he spends three days with them 8 hours a day. I am not that dogmatic in my approach. I do what you do with anxiety with added metaphors. I find that imbedded suggestions, direct suggestions and metaphors that promote and suggest that the client ignores or just doesn’t notice the noise in the same way people who live by airports or railways pay no attention to the sounds they here, or the same way we tune our others when on the phone, reading or watching TV. This is all I have time to go over right now, but you get the picture. If you tell her the ringing is going away she will keep listening for it to see if it has gone away. When she does that as an observer she creates the law of reverse effect.
Keep doing what you are doing.
